The idea of overlanding is to travel from point A to point B with everything contained in your vehicle. Usually, these trips take you off the paved path and into the wilderness. Many Overlanders like the utility and simplicity of a rooftop tent. 

 

I wanted to create a simple rooftop tent to understand the process that it takes. My tent is very similar to the ones on the market, I wasn't going for a newly renovated design but wanted to understand the manufacturing process more.
